Built from an Alternative Angle

Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, we operate at the intersection of design, durability, and real world use. Our products are engineered to be versatile, serviceable, and built to last.

Founders and brothers Squires and Scott Smith grew up hunting, fishing, riding, and doing just about anything that kept them outdoors. When Squires developed the first product solution, the Hangar, both brothers kept coming back to something they knew well. Much of the gear they relied on had been handed down from their father and grandfather, and it still works today.

That kind of longevity felt increasingly rare in a world of disposable, mass produced solutions. So they made a decision early on. Altangle would not just create another product. It would build differently from the top down.

Thoughtfully designed. Precision built. Made to be relied on for years.

If it did not fit neatly into big box trends or chase marketplace algorithms, so be it. The goal was simple. Build the products they would want to use themselves.

Taking the alternative angle our name suggests, Altangle exists to provide unique, purpose driven solutions for like minded individuals who value quality over convenience.

We design around function first. Every product is developed with a focus on strength, adaptability, and long term reliability. As we continue to grow, we have made a deliberate commitment to strengthening how our products are built, including now making our primary systems in the United States to strengthen quality, speed, and innovation.

We serve hobbyists and professionals alike who expect their equipment to perform when it matters. Whether in the field, the shop, or on the move, Altangle tools are built to support your pursuit without compromise.
